Dear Dad,

Sorry but it looks like we won’t be able to visit you again this year. I know that’s what we said last year, the year before that and the year before that, but Molly and I are just too busy to come up this Thanksgiving. Also we just took a two week vacation to Hawaii with Molly’s parents and frankly, we are all vacationed out! Pictures soon, promise! The kids are doing great. Timmy got an A in science class. Courtney no longer remembers you, but when I told her she had a grandpa, she said to say hi.
